INNOSPACE announced today it has signed a launch service distribution agreement with Commercial Space Technologies Ltd. (CST), a UK-based space consultancy and launch brokerage firm headquartered in London, to accelerate its expansion into the European market.
Under the agreement, CST will be responsible for business development activities across Europe, including identifying potential satellite customers and supporting launch service contracts. INNOSPACE plans to utilize its recently secured Malbusca Launch Center in Portugal as a strategic hub for addressing European launch demand, combining CST’s more than 40 years of industry experience and established customer network to convert growing European small satellite demand into concrete business outcomes.
INNOSPACE has proactively built a global launch site network spanning Brazil’s Alcântara Space Center, Australia’s Whalers Way Orbital Launch Complex and Koonibba Test Range, and now Europe. Through this distribution agreement, the company expects to establish an integrated business structure covering customer acquisition, launch service contracting, and actual launch execution, enabling the delivery of rapid launch services optimized for customers’ schedules, orbital requirements, and mission profiles.
Founded in 1983, CST has built a strong reputation for more than four decades in launch service brokerage and project management, successfully supporting numerous launch projects and establishing a robust customer network across Europe. As INNOSPACE’s official distribution partner, CST will closely support satellite launch projects, contract facilitation, and launch schedule coordination to ensure INNOSPACE’s successful entry into the European market.
“While demand for small satellite launches in Europe is growing rapidly, customers are increasingly seeking flexibility in launch schedules and orbital options, yet the number of reliable launch service providers remains limited,” said Soojong Kim, Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE. “Through this distribution agreement with CST, INNOSPACE will strategically target the European small satellite launch market with differentiated launch solutions and deliver customized, reliability-driven launch services that meet customer needs.”
“We are delighted to formalize this partnership with INNOSPACE and strengthen Europe’s access to competitive, dependable launch opportunities,” said Alan Webb, Managing Director of CST. “By combining our long-standing expertise in launch brokerage with INNOSPACE’s rapidly advancing technology, we aim to deliver greater flexibility, transparency, and mission assurance for Europe’s growing small satellite community.”
According to market research firm Mordor Intelligence, the European small satellite market is expected to grow from approximately USD 3.99 billion in 2025 to USD 6.42 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.02%.
