INNOSPACE Signs MoU with India’s Grahaa Space for Multi-Launch Service Cooperation2026-04-21

INNOSPACE announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian space technology startup Grahaa Space to cooperate on multi-launch services.

● Expands multi-launch cooperation with a customer from the first HANBIT-Nano launch
● Recognized for launch operations and customer support capabilities strengthening a trust-based partnership
● Multi-launch framework delivers schedule flexibility and cost efficiency, enhancing global competitiveness

INNOSPACE announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian space technology startup Grahaa Space to cooperate on multi-launch services.

The MOU signing ceremony took place at the Korea-India Space Day event in Bengaluru, India, jointly hosted by the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) and the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe).

This MoU follows the first commercial launch of HANBIT-Nano in December last year, and is particularly meaningful in that the initial collaboration has now expanded into cooperation on multi-launch services. Grahaa Space, which participated in the mission as a satellite customer at the time, highly regarded INNOSPACE’s technological capabilities and customer response throughout the entire process, from launch preparation to actual operations, despite the unsuccessful outcome of the inaugural launch mission, SPACEWARD. Building on this experience, the two companies have signed the MoU to jointly explore future multi-launch opportunities and strengthen their strategic partnership.

In particular, the MoU is also significant in that it goes beyond a single launch mission and aims to establish a customer-tailored, multi-launch operational framework that can flexibly respond to customers’ launch demand, orbital requirements, and schedules. This service model is designed to secure multiple launch opportunities, thereby minimizing the impact of schedule delays and technical variables on commercialization while improving mission reliability and predictability. Through this MoU, the two companies plan to establish a more systematic operational process based on repeated launch opportunities and jointly expand their competitiveness in the global small satellite market.

“Based on our experience with the SPACEWARD mission last year, we retain strong confidence in the technical capabilities and responsiveness of the INNOSPACE team, notwithstanding the anomaly encountered. Space missions are inherently complex, and the true measure of a partnership lies in the ability to understand these challenges, learn collaboratively from each mission, and remain steadfast in the face of temporary setbacks. This MoU for multi-launch cooperation is the result of sustained engagement and our recognition of INNOSPACE’s commitment to rapid iteration, underpinned by a clear long-term vision. We are confident that this partnership embodies a shared emphasis on reliability, transparency, and continuous improvement as we advance our nanosatellite roadmap,” said Ramesh Kumar V, Co-Founder & CEO of Grahaa Space.

“This MoU is meaningful in that it represents an expansion of our cooperation with a customer that participated in our first launch mission and recognized both our technological capabilities and service quality. Through repeated launch opportunities, we will continue to demonstrate the reliability of our launch vehicle and grow as a trusted partner for global satellite customers by providing launch services that align closely with customer needs,” said Soojong Kim, Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE.

“The multi-launch service model can offer customers both greater schedule flexibility and cost efficiency, making it a differentiated service for the small satellite market going forward. We will continue to strengthen our mission-oriented launch service capabilities and further enhance our competitiveness in the global market,” he added.
